Thank you for taking a closer look at Logos

 

As missionaries, we are part of a group of believers that are "sent out" as

 "apostles to the Gentiles."  Just as Paul was called by God and sent forth

under the spiritual authority of the local church in Antioch, missionaries are

sent forth as apostles to reach other countries with the gospel message.  We

are co-laborers together in reaching the Deaf of Honduras. We are going, and

our partners are doing the sending. You can be a part of that sending through

various means.

 

First of all, the most important way to participate in this ministry is through

prayer and intercession. Your prayer support is needed!  Without the

spiritual covering of intercession, we are left vulnerable to all types of spiritual

attack.  Spiritual warfare is an everyday reality, and as your missionaries, we

can feel the difference when prayer supporters are interceding for us. Prayer

needs will be updated regularly on this web site.

 

Secondly, you can become an “M.P.” (Ministry Partner) through your

financial support.  As your missionaries, we are an extension of you,

reaching out into the harvest field as your personal representatives. As a

Ministry Partner, you are joining forces with us to reach the Deaf of Honduras

for the Kingdom. Those who provide the seed to the sower will receive the

same reward as those that gather in the harvest .                  (II Co. 9:10-11).

 

The operating budget for the San Pedro Deaf Ministry Center is $3,500 per

month.  We presently rent a 2 buildings to provide our services.  In the future,

as the program grows, we would like to be able to purchase land and build

a building that would be able to meet our needs completely. We receive no

governmental support or subsidies.  We rely only on your monthly gifts.  A

financial report is available upon request.

 

Thirdly, you can become personally involved by e-mailing and

communicating with us and sharing what God is doing in your life and

ministry. Words of encouragement are always welcome. You may even have

one or more of the items listed in the “resources needed” page of this web

site.  You alone, as a family, or with group from your church, can come on a

mission trip to work with us during a vacation.

 

The important thing is to become involved!  Complacency and procrastination

will not build the Kingdom of God.  Go beyond being a spectator to what God

is doing with the Deaf of Honduras and become an active part in the move of

the Spirit!  Pray diligently that the Lord would show you some way to become

involved in taking the gospel to the Deaf of Honduras and Central America.

 

We would like to invite you to prayerfully consider supporting us and our

ministry on a consistent, monthly basis. In the words of Corrie Ten Boom, “I’d

rather have a dollar which the Lord directs you to give, than a thousand

which He hasn’t.” The amount is not important, but I believe that the

consistency is!  By giving each month on a regular basis, it will help remind

you to pray for us on a consistent basis.
