      Deaf Training Center

We are located next to the gate of the emergency room and the large Catarino Rivas Public Hospital in San Pedro Sula.  At this time we are looking to move into a second facility to house our children’s educational services since this building has become too crowded to host all of the projects that God has opened up in the community and the hospital.  Watch the blog for pictures of our new facility.

In the future we are believing for God to provide a residential school for deaf to come from all parts of Honduras to learn whatever they need to learn.  We will keep you advised of the progress of this project

At this time our center facilitates:

· A tutoring program for deaf children and adults presently developing into a Private Deaf School  grades K-12 in the future

· Early Intervention Training Program for infants through Kinder

· Audio logical Testing and Hearing Resources

· Interpreter Training

· Early  Intervention Screening  Program for Infants

· Bible Training Center for deaf adults

· Center for Deaf Education Teacher Certification Program

· Deaf Community Resource Center for parents and professionals

· Vocational Training for deaf adults in sewing, crafts, lawn care, etc.

· Job corp for deaf needing employment

· E-Store that sells items made by the deaf

· English Teaching Program for community

· Community Sign Language Classes

 

· Administrative offices

· Community recreation and meeting Center for deaf Individuals, clubs, or any group that are involved with deaf.

· Missionary Intern training center for training and sending missionaries to the deaf to other countries.
